Chlorophyllipt® is a mixture of chlorophylls obtained from eucalyptus leaves. The drug has antibacterial (bacteriostatic and bactericidal) effects, especially against staphylococci, including antibiotic-resistant strains. It has an anti-inflammatory effect.

Indications:

In the complex therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases caused by staphylococci, including antibiotic-resistant strains; burns, long-lasting wounds and trophic ulcers of the extremities; cervical erosion; for the prevention of postoperative complications, as well as for intestinal sanitation in cases of staphylococcal carrier.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to eucalyptus leaf extract or any of the excipients.
• When ingested – age under 18 years, pregnancy, breastfeeding, liver disease, traumatic brain injury, alcoholism, brain diseases.

Method of application:

For adults, the drug is prescribed orally, topically, externally. For children under 18 years of age, the drug is prescribed topically and topically.
Inside. When used in adults with intestinal carrier of staphylococcus, 5 ml of 1% alcohol solution diluted with 30 ml of water, 3 times a day for 40 minutes before meals daily for 2-3 weeks.
Locally. In case of intestinal carriage of staphylococcus, Chlorophyllipt® is also prescribed rectally in an enema (20 ml of 1% alcohol solution is diluted in 1 liter of water - this is the dose for one enema). An enema with the drug is given every two days. For children in the volume (in ml) corresponding to their age. The course of treatment consists of 10 procedures.
In the treatment of cervical erosion, all folds of the vaginal mucosa and the vaginal part of the cervix are pre-dried with a swab and the cervical canal and erosion are lubricated with 1% alcohol solution of Chlorophyllipt® diluted 1:10. The manipulation is performed for 10 days daily, after which the patient should be syringed with a solution of the drug (1 tablespoon of 1% alcohol solution per 1 liter of water). The course of treatment is 2 weeks. In case of incomplete epithelialization, the course of treatment is repeated.
Externally, in the treatment of burns, long-term non-healing wounds and trophic ulcers, a 1% alcohol solution of Chlorophyllipt is diluted with a 0.25% solution of novocaine in a ratio of 1:5 and used as gauze dressings soaked in this solution. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.
If there is no improvement after treatment, or the symptoms worsen, or new symptoms appear, it is necessary to consult a doctor. Use the drug only according to the indications, the method of use and in the doses specified in the instructions.

Use during pregnancy and lactation:
