Factory history

Kirov Pharmaceutical Factory JSC is a modern enterprise with a long history of development from a small production site to a factory with a production volume of more than 20 million packages per year.

On November 6, 1941, the factory began its career: in the Pharmacy Department's premises, the production of simple but very popular ointments, alcoholic tinctures, solutions and dressings was organized.

In 1957, taking into account the importance of the Factory for the regional healthcare system, the production laboratory was reorganized into a Pharmaceutical Factory, which is part of the Pharmacy Service of the region.

In 1994, the production was reorganized into the Regional State Unitary Enterprise Kirov Pharmaceutical Factory.

In 2006, the company became an Open Joint Stock Company.

In 2015, the company's owner changed – the company was reorganized into the Joint-Stock Company Kirov Pharmaceutical Factory.

In 2021, the plant successfully passed the pharmaceutical inspection for compliance with the requirements of the rules of good manufacturing practice of the Eurasian Economic Union and received the GMP certificate.

Obtaining the Eurasian GMP certificate confirms the highest production quality standards. If until 1994 the plant provided drugs only to pharmacies in the Kirov region, then since 1994 the company began to sell its products to other regions of Russia.

Today we supply medicines to all regions of Russia and work with more than 30,000 organizations of various forms of ownership.

The primary goal of our company is product quality. The Quality Control Department constantly monitors the compliance of the quality of its products with the applicable regulatory documents. In 2021, the Factory received a GMP certificate confirming the compliance of all production stages with the required standards.

The Quality Control Service consists of two departments:

The Quality Assurance Department conducts external and internal audits. The department's task is to conduct external and internal audits, develop documentation of the quality system, and train the IT department of the factory and the main production staff in the rules of good manufacturing practice, implemented on the basis of the Order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation No. 916 dated 06/14/2013.

Department of Declaration and State Control. This department provides documentation support for our products and their compliance with approved standards and norms.

Cold extraction method

The uniqueness of our Factory lies in the fact that no thermal methods of processing raw materials are used in the production of medicinal tinctures. This allows you to preserve all the beneficial properties of herbs. This ensures the highest quality of our products.

Careful monitoring

To ensure the high quality of manufactured medicines, the company has introduced a quality control system. There is a license to carry out activities in the field of diagnostic studies with microorganisms of the 4th group of pathogenicity.

Packaging of finished products
